We used a gardening technique that involves layering organic materials directly onto the soil to create a natural, weed-suppressing barrier. It is used to convert grassy areas into planting beds without digging up and removing turf. Benefits include improving soil structure, recycling organic material, and creating water-efficient landscapes.
